Snowshoe Mountain Resort
|
Snowshoe Mountain is the most remote, and yet most fantastic of West Virginia ski resorts. Sometimes called the "upside-down ski resort," most of Snowshoe -- with its many shops, restaurants, and lodging facilities -- caps the top of the mountain above the slopes.
Guests are usually amazed to find this "capitol of West Virginia winter sports" in the middle of thousands of square miles of national forest.
